The two winners will return to the COMEL Space in Latina for a solo exhibition during 2023.
The ninth edition of the COMEL Vanna Migliorin Contemporary Art award is reaching its final stage: on Saturday, December 3, the award ceremony will be held for the winner of the 2022 edition selected by the Jury and the winner of the Audience Award, i.e., the author of the work most voted by visitors to the exhibition.
So, although voting ended on Sunday, November 27, there are still a few days left to visit the Endless Aluminium exhibition and try to guess who the winners will be. On display will be the thirteen finalist works, by artists from all over Europe who responded to the call for entries that came out last spring, and who, from nearly 200 entries, were selected by a jury of experts chaired by Prof. Giorgio Agnisola.
Thirteen very different works declined this year’s theme, which emphasizes the ability of aluminium to be recycled an endless number of times without ever losing its characteristics.
The exhibition can be visited until Dec. 3 daily from 5 to 8 p.m. The awards ceremony will be held on the last day of the exhibition at 6 p.m., with part of the jury and some of the participating artists present.
