COMEL AWARD VANNA MIGLIORIN 2023

The Aluminium eXperience
Exhibition inaugurated

The Aluminium eXperience, the concluding exhibition of the tenth edition of the COMEL Award, was inaugurated on the afternoon of Saturday, October 21.

It was an evening of great success and multiple emotions. We discussed Art, the division of Beauty, dreams, memories, and passions shared by organizers, artists, and jurors from 2012, the first edition. A growing path characterized by happy encounters, beautiful collaborations, and great works of Art, all under the banner of being together and getting to know each other without language, geographic, political, or religious barriers because everyone at COMEL Space speaks the language of contemporary Art.

So, it was an opening night that was also a celebration for the public, the artists who arrived from different parts of Italy, and the exceptional jury gathered in full for this happy occasion.

On display were the 13 aluminium works selected from hundreds of entries received this year: painting, sculpture, installations, and photography showing as many techniques that enhanced aluminium in various ways. It is a metal that never ceases to amaze me for its ability to give light, thickness, and depth to the works that came to Latina from all over the European continent.

The exhibition will be open every day (except November 1) from 5 to 8 p.m. until November 11, the day when the winners of the 2023 edition will be announced.
