BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES

Katharina Maria Wimmer, born in 2002 in Vienna, studies Fine Arts at the University of Art in Linz. Her practice explores narratives of modernity, the concept of progress, and identity formation, with a focus on the invisible processes and inequalities that underlie these themes. Through photography and objects, she makes social structures and complex dynamics tangible, inviting critical reflection on familiar frameworks. She has participated in group exhibitions, contributed to publications, and received international scholarships.
