BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES

Born in 1969 in Belgium, he is a Greek-Belgian contemporary artist based in Greece. He is known for a distinctive visual language in which images emerge from thousands of individual dots, creating a continuous shift between abstraction and representation. His practice investigates perception, distance, and image construction, extending beyond traditional painting into industrial materials and fabricated forms to explore the intersection of art and manufacturing processes. Likissas’ works are held in private collections across Europe and the United States and have been exhibited internationally in New York and Venice, including featured presentations such as the Banksy and Friends exhibition in Pontedera.
