BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES

Linked to painting and drawing since childhood, Mariangela Cacace studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, where she graduated in Set Design in 2001. The heart of her research is the concept of “Cronocromografie”, a method through which she experiments with the stratification of time on the pictorial surface. Her painting emerges from the dialogue between Matter, Light and Space, developing through a study of textures and chromatic combinations, mainly using oil paint. Through the pictorial surface, she embraces the complexity of human feeling, transforming it into visual, poetic and philosophical suggestion. She has exhibited widely in Italy and abroad, and her works are held in public and private collections.
