Great attendance for the Vernissage of the second edition of the COMEL Award Vanna Migliorin.
Great success at the Spazio COMEL for the inauguration of the contemporary art exhibition “The expressiveness of aluminum”, combined with the COMEL Vanna Migliorin Award 2013.
A large and international audience came to follow the event on Saturday, March 9.
Around 18.30 the tunnel was full and many people were forced to stay outside, in via Neghelli 68, waiting to enter.
The evening opened with an introduction by the organizing committee. Maria Gabriella Mazzola, owner of the gallery, welcomed the artists and the public recalling the raison d’être of the Spazio and the beginning of the Award, now in its second edition, dedicated to the memory of the mother entrepreneur Vanna Migliorin, who in 1968 founded the company CO.ME. L (leader in the marketing and processing of aluminium). Elizabeth Genovesi (ARTROM Network) artistic director of the Award, has emphasized the importance of the union between art and enterprise that the Spazio COMEL is pioneering, is in fact one of the very few realities in support of art in Italy. Annalista Lazzarotto, graphic designer explained the novelty of this year: the creation of a popular award, as well as the jury of experts.
